i think they come together i have it for wii and it came with: 1 guitar 1 drum set and 1 microphone the other guitar you have to buy or you can always just buy one guitar and buy the game from a friend

It is only required to have one instrument to play the game. You can buy the game and the instrument separately. If you search for the instruments online, you will be able to find some websites that sell them each separate.
