Guitar lessons??????
I’ve a a problem. I guitar and most just myself. I book lessons online. that I’m advanced, I’m get lessons, but don’t pay drive guitar lessons (I’ve offered for myself, but don’t want me). I do? do them me lessons?
no i live there, it been convenient. also, have of guitar lessons cost and lessons get?
answerer too, i agree, but i’m 2 in have IQ – my aren’t too my grades, means "improving my such" necessarily legit me, for insight

You don’t by some way off chance live in the Kings County area of California, do you? If you did, my uncle gives lessons and he drives to his students’ house instead of them going to him.

explain that music lessons will dramatically improve your spatial coordination and dexterity as well as improve your math skills and even raise your I.Q. a few points and that these benefits are permanent and scientifically proven. Than you can guilt them with the notion that parents should nurture a childs’ intellect and that music lessons are a great way to do this. I think the fact that you offered to pay for them your self is great and, in my opinion, the least they could do is to pay for the gas and drive you there. If all else fails find a friend who is taking lessons and see if you can get a ride with them.
I applaud you decision to improve your playing and definitely agree that lessons are the best way to do this.

P.S. lessons range from $40 to $60 per month for a 1/2 hour lesson per week (4 weeks) this is an average for most lessons and works out to about $10-$15 per lesson. There are some teachers that will travel to you but then you will have to pay for the travel expenses also

i say don’t even worry about guitar lessons right now. Try to find a friend who plays guitar well and learn from them. i play 3 instruments and the majority of my knowledge comes from learning off my friends who also play.

Well, lots of people will drive to the students houses. So look around for one of those teachers. If you can’t find one though, explain that it is way more beneficial to have a real person teach you.

You may not want to hear this but your parents’ resistance to guitar lessons might be on-the-surface evidence of a deeper concern — or resentment — regarding how prepared you are for "real life" outside the parental nest.
I don’t know your folks, your household or even your age so I don’t want to speak way out of turn, but how often to you cook dinner, pick up groceries at the supermarket, wash the car. I can’t promise they’ll rush off and buy you music lessons, but if you don’t do any of that stuff now but start doing some of it over the next few months, you’ll get something else most young folks don’t get from old ones — a little respect.
Another thing to remember — work sucks for a lot of people. Money is tight, entitlement attitudes run out of control, etc. Sometimes helping out and even letting them ramble on once in awhile can go a long way. I know plenty of them can’t get over their own ego trip to appreciate your efforts, but others will definitely surprise you.
